Lady in the snow

(April 1986 - November 1995) Lady was our first Bernese Mountain Dog who we picked up from the breeder on the Isle of White when she was 7 weeks old. She joined our aging cross breed Alice who immediately found a new lease of life. Lady was a pet who gave the biggest cuddle you could have from a dog. She was not a show dog, but did try some carting but unfortunately cruciate ligaments problems put paid to this. But she did get us hooked onto the breed and we miss her welcome and friendly face. Her nickname was 'Boo' and we still remember picking her up as a little bundle not knowing how the breed would impact on us. Rest in peace old friend we still miss you.
